Louisville Angel Tree

The Angel Tree is up at Home State Bank with Angels to choose from.  Please pick an Angel from the tree, purchase the gift listed and wrap the present.  Please tape the Angel onto the present and return to the bank and place under tree.
Please turn all gifts back in by December 20th.
Other items needed are gloves, hats, and any under garments.  These items can be dropped off at Jack-n-Jill or at the Louisville School.

Donation of cash is also helpful for us to purchase any gift not taken from the Tree.  If you would like to make a cash donation, please make the donation at Home State Bank under Louisville Angel Tree.  Money also goes towards gift card to Jack-n-Jill for food.
The Angel Tree is sponsored by the Louisville Jaycee Foundation.
Thank you

THANK YOU

to the community...

The Louisville Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to thank everyone in the community who made the PTO Carnival a huge success.   It was great to see so many in the community to come out to support our school. The carnival helps pay for educational field trips and improvements to the school.  In addition to supportive parents, we we also received generous contributions from local businesses such as; Leibman Financial Service, R.R. Berner Real Estate, Newstyle Medical Supplier, Derby’ Heating & Air, Inc., Farmer’s Bank of Cook, No Frills Supermarkets, Hy-Vee, AMC 24, Pankonin’s Inc., Main Street Cafe, Indulgence Salon Inc., Home State Bank, Jack & Jill’s Grocery, C-Anna Cakes, Copple and Barnes Photography.

Thanks again for all the support and looking forward to the PTO Carnival in 2012.

Dear Louisvillians,

Family, friends, football and food.  It's a holiday that many people celebrate with massive meals and gatherings with family members.  However, it's also a holiday where folks pause to remember what they are thankful for.  For this week's newsletter, we have some young voices from the Louisville community who wanted to share what they were thankful for.  Perhaps this will encourage you to consider your own bounty this Thanksgiving and feel thankful for them.

Mckenna (grade 8) is thankful for music.

Ryan (grade 7) is thankful for activites like sports

Dustin (grade 7) is thankful for animals

Kitt (grade 7) is thankful for theatre

Gavin (grade 8) is thankful for guitar

Cade (grade 7) is thankful for basketball

Nathan (grade 8) is thankful for computers

Karli (grade 8) is thankful for cars

Holli (grade 8) is thankful for life

Trenton (grade 8) is thankful for freedom

Ryan (grade 8) is thankful for his horse

Austin (grade 8) is thankful for helping a friend

Finding the little things in life that you are thankful for is an exercise that helps us appreciate all that we have, just as these young people do.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

    Have a wonderful week, Louisvillians!
