B.U.I.L.D Brainstorms Big "L!" Events

Joan Knott was present from Royal Neighbors with ideas for Ringing in the Season. Some plans include: Santa in the Art Gallery, shopping vendors in the American Legion upstairs, Art Chicks shopping for youngsters, face painting, blanket or food drive, Christmas Jazz Combo, Swing choir, sleigh rides and possible soup lunch at the fire hall. Joan will have a meeting with other volunteers and B.U.I.L.D. members to brainstorm more ideas.
Nancy reported for the upcoming scarecrow contest. She highly encourages business participation. Details and entry forms are available on-line and at the city office. Prizes will be awarded in each category; business, school and general. Please, register below.

In the week, we have served five families. Our supply is running low.

- Spices such as garlic powder, chopped onion, paprika, oregano, Italian Seasoning, Cinnamon, All Spice, Parsley, onion powder, Chili Powder, Cumin and any spice you might use. These items can be found very inexpensive at Big Lots, Dollar General and Dollar Tree and they work well.
- Condiments such as Miracle Whip, Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, Margarine , Peanut Butter, Jelly or Jam.
Tomato Paste , Tomato Sauce, Spaghetti Sauce, Salsa or Taco Sauce, Flour Tortillas, Taco Shells, spaghetti Noodles, Macaroni Noodles,
- Pizza Crust Mix, Cookie Mix, Cake Mix, Muffin Mix, Bisquick or equivalent, Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Pie Filling, Pie Crust Mix,
- Shredded Cheeses: Mozzarella, Cheddar, Monterey Jack Blend, Sliced American Cheese
