Memorial Day Services at Riverview Cemetery is at 10:00 a.m. conducted by American Legion Post #353.

 School is out May 22nd, consider this event

at The Lofte Theater for your child's Summer activities:

Missoula Children's Theater
Auditions - Monday, June 10 at 10:00 am
 
Frog PrinceTake two directors from Missoula, Montana, add 60 local children and the result is an amazing show by one of the best children's theater companies in the world!  This year's production will be, "The Frog Prince."  It's the story of a lonely frog who retrieves a golden ball for Princess Prim in exchange for friendship and comfort.
Auditions are open to all children who will be entering first grade through seventh grade.  If you child receives a part, he/she will receive a complete rehearsal schedule for the week by 12pm on Monday, June 10.  There are two public performances on Saturday, June 15.  One is at 3pm, the other is at 6pm.  Tickets for adults are $8 and children under 12 are $5.
Some of the adorable roles available this year are 'Swamp Things,' 'Flamingos,' and 'Venus Fly Traps.'  It's sure to be cute and very entertaining!

'The Producers' Audition at Lofte Community Theatre

The Lofte Community Theatre in Manley will be holding open auditions for its summer musical, 'The Producers,' on May 26, 27 and 28 at 7pm.  Those auditioning should bring a short prepared song no more than one minute in length.  There are several featured roles and most include a basic stage dancing requirement.

Kevin Colbert will be directing the show.  Rehearsals will start in early June.  Production dates are July 19 through August 4.  Questions may be directed to Mr. Colbert at the Lofte at 402.234.2553

Cass County  "CASAsino VEGAS NIGHT" a Big Success

A fun filled spring event for a great cause was held Saturday, April 20,
2013 at the Beaver Lake Clubhouse.   The event benefited Cass County Court
Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and was chaired by Steve and Joni Warga.
It was the organizations major fundraising event of the year.

Approximately 100 people attended the "CASAsino VEGAS NIGHT" which generated
over $5,700 in sponsorships, ticket sales and donations to the organization.
The evening's festivities included Vegas style entertainment, heavy
appetizers and several prizes.  Joni Meisinger was the lucky winner of The
Deck of Diamonds drawing and took home a Diamond Necklace donated by Main
Street Jewelers.

Special "Thanks" to the events top sponsors who include: Royal Flush (Rick
Iske Crop Insurance and Bruce and Annette Wiles), Full House (Absolute
Healthcare Urgent Care APRN and Louisville Family Dental/Jason Rohrs,
DDS/Blake's Pharmacy Kitran Geise).  Ace (Patty Scarlet/CBS Home, Cass
County Bank and Allgood Spine Clinic)

Cass County CASA works with children that are abused, neglected and often
find themselves lost in the court system.  Through Cass County CASA, these
children are placed with advocates that speak on their behalf and know them
well enough to make informed recommendations to the judge.  Proceeds from
this event benefit the Cass County CASA Program, a donor-supported volunteer
organization whose mission is to offer court-approved volunteer advocacy.
