Louisville High School Band Earned The Top Trophy

boosters2013 1

boosters2013 2

The Louisville High School Band and their director, Kevin White, performed the preshow for the popular Haygoods Show at the RFD TV Theatre in Branson on Wednesday, May 29th.  They represented Louisville very well and earned the top trophy available for performing groups.

The students were also able to have some other fun experiences over the three days of the trip.  They enjoyed The Tracks, Ride the Ducks and Silver Dollar City and ate at some fun restaurants.

A band performance trip has occurred every four years since 2000, including the Liberty Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, and twice as preshows at Branson theatres. The students have to pay a small part of the expenses.  The rest of the funding comes from the band fundraisers that happen over the course of those four years, the Music Boosters and some private donations.  Thanks to all that have helped raise funds over the years for 16 years of Louisville band students to have this incredible experience!
