FROG PRINCE AMAZES AUDIENCES

"On June 10, the Lofte played host to an amazing event. Approximately 107 area children auditioned for the Missoula Children's Theater summer residency.
It was a wonderful turn-out that illustrated the amount of interest Cass County residents have in the theater arts!
While it was unfortunate that some children didn't get a part, we certainly hope that everyone still walks away with a positive feeling about the process.
Don't forget the immortal words of our own Artistic Director, Kevin Colbert, "Audition often!"
On Saturday, June 15, the cast of 'The Frog Prince' gave two public performances and received rave reviews. One proud grandparent said, "I've been to a lot of these and this was my favorite one! It was really great!"
We at the Lofte extend our sincere thanks to Home State Bank in Louisville and Plattsmouth State Bank for their continued support of this residency. We also wish to thank Lynn Plucknett of Louisville for opening her home to our visiting tour directors and letting them stay with her for the week."

Other projects included “A Cow On My Pizza”, Butterfly Bounty, T-shirt Frenzy and Bold Birds. “Go Green” projects included a Tube Racer, Flowerpot Cow and Pocket Purse incorporating recycled materials.
