OVWC President, Greg Sloma spoke of Last Saturday's Event in Louisville as one of the Best Turn Out's that the club has had in it's 30 Year History.
We really love the Small Town environment that makes the outing fun and family friendly, for the more than 60 Families that represent our Club.

In the Beginning, there was Godspell...

Before the Lofte was even “The Lofte,” there was just a bunch of talented individuals in Cass County who wanted to put on a show. In 1977, the first group of Born-in-a-Barn Players were led by Diane Bjornborg (now Reece) and brought to life the Gospel According to St. Matthew. Folding chairs were borrowed from a funeral home. Stage lights were made out of coffee cans and there was no heating or air conditioning. Fast forward 38 years and you have the same great story with a few added amenities. - Read More

In time for the Main Street Summer visitors
New picnic tables

They were donated by Papillion Sanitation and are made of recycled materials.
The shelter and picnic tables are between Main and Walnut on 3rd Street by the playground and splash pad.
The splash pad is also now open for business!! Here are a couple of pictures from last year, but we have since added a shelter on the north edge with picnic tables (donated by Papillion Sanitation)!! There is a valve on the west side of the splash pad so if a resident comes and it’s not turned on, go ahead and help yourself. Please shut it off when you’re done, unless there are other kids there cooling off. Enjoy!

The public restrooms behind city hall are now open! The women’s is even complete with diaper changing station.
