Just a note of rememberance to my friend Margaret Minchow

I was stunned to read her Obituary HERE by accident, but that is how I first met her was

by accident. We had launched a community website LouisvilleNebraska.com in May 2000 and

by 2001 we really needed to do something to make it interesting. We launched an anymous

discussion forum, to let people speak about the things they liked and did not like about our Community.

As it turned out the community was divided on the subject of "Train Whistles" especially late at night.

Many folks loved the sound and it made them feel at home - one person was clearly NOT a fan:

The person was User Name: Sleepless in Louisville. As the discussion grew more intense we

were called to the Mayor's Office and asked to shut down the discussion forum.

My wife was confused and asked the why it was such a big deal - "Trained Weazles" and that

had the whole Community Laughing - there was a mystery who this person

"Sleepless in Louisville" really was - I received this email in 2003:

Hello John - do you remember me? Not even sure if this is the
right email address....

I was doing some spring cleaning and ran across an old file with
discusions from 2001 on the old Louisville discussion forums, and
found a bunch of strings..what a riot. Some of these are pretty
good. I wonder if I could send them anywhere and get them
published or something?:)

Anyway, just thought I'd drop a line and see what was going on.

we’re off on the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf and a spunky little girl who just won’t take, “No,” for an answer.

Amos the mouse is played by Lofte newcomer Austin J. Brady of Lincoln. His human friend

Emily is played by Shakeida Bullis of Bellevue. Rounding out the cast of colorful

characters are Greg Leger and Doug Rothgeb of Omaha and Keri Hogue of Elmwood.
