Echoes of Art Chicks..
Last weekend over 50 women of all ages attended the first Princess Balls
at Havenmakers Building at 129 Main Louisville Ne.
This was a fund raiser for Open Door Mission Kids to Camp program
where homeless children are provided daily activities throughout the summer.
Hosted by Havenmakers Group with Nebraska Realty, it raised $2,000 that will allow over
40 kids to participate in the program.
Jeanne Anderson, event host, states "this is going to be an annual event.
There was amazing support in the community with people attending from Omaha to Lincoln and many surrounding towns.
I wanted an event where women of all ages could just dance and interact. It was uplifting to see
Grandmother's dancing with grandchildren.
Bubbles by Jen Carlson and face painting by Behond My Eyes -Nicole Stackpole.
Even our top notch DJs were local female artists.
D.J. Olivia Minchow and Valerie Knott taught the young Princesses some fun dances
and kept the older ones dancing until midnight.
"We can't wait until next year to see what this community of women
can come up with"Jeanne says with a smile. Activities were donated by
generous women owned businesses including shirt making by Simply Styled- Becky Robbins, Pearly

Nebraska Methodist College, in partnership with Louisville Care Center, is offering a seven-week Nursing Assistant Hybrid Course in Louisville.
Nursing assistants, commonly referred to as CNAs, work closely with patients on a daily basis to provide essential care, such as checking vital signs,
making beds and helping doctors and nurses with basic medical procedures.
Students will complete coursework online from May 11-June 30 and attend clinical classes once a week on Thursdays
from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at Louisville Care Center. The cost is $499 and includes a textbook, skills packet and testing.
Following the completion of the course, students may take the competency exams to qualify for State of Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry placement.
To register for the Nursing Assistant Hybrid Course, visit www.methodistcollege.edu/CNA and select course NAH000.5(3) to attend at Louisville Care Center.
