With persistence, commitment, and a lot of effort over the last three years, the time is drawing near to celebrate the completion of our fundraising efforts. The $210,000.00 project will develop a safe area, will be accessible to all children, as well as having several ADA play features. The renovations for the playground will not only benefit the students, but provide a wide variety of activities for the community to utilize throughout the year.

As of Tuesday, November 7, the fundraising efforts by the Playground Committee have totaled $202,683.07 for the project. Our goal was to reach $200,000 by November/December of this school year!! With persistence, community support and the support of the Louisville Public Schools, we have reached our committee goal!!

On Wednesday, November 8, the Playground Committee held a meeting to discuss our finances and to look at different playground designs from two companies. The design that was unanimously agreed upon is a play structure from Crouch Recreation. It is a structure that would meet the needs of all our students.

With the increase in costs, we are ONLY $8,000 short of completing the project. We still need your support!! If we are able to surpass our new fundraising goal of $8,000.00, we can add an element of shade to the playground structure. It is still our intention to start the renovations by the end May 2018.
